In only the second turf race at Lingfield Miss Dubai found the ground was a little too firm for her, changing her legs several times coming down the hill while racing up with the pace in a small field. On genuinely good ground it is felt that she would have fared much better, but this day the fast surface meant that although she ran right through to the line, she was outstayed in the last furlong by the favourite under a good claiming rider. Jockey Tadhg O'Shea was pleased with her genuine attitude, and with the right conditions she is sure to be winning more races in the near future.
