On a busy Easter Monday card Power Home was not able to secure her hat trick of wins over twelve furlongs in the Pepsi Max handicap. Racing easily in fifth around the rail for the first mile, Power Home was badly bumped as she looked to make her forward move turning for home. More than once she was checked by the enthusiastically ridden topweight, which meant that she had to come wide into the straight and she did finish well to be fourth, beaten by less than two lengths and only denied third place in the last stride. The next outing for the Poachers' silks will hopefully be in mid-May !
