Power Home lives up to her name for second Wolves WIN
Returning to the scene of her 2017 triumph on the tapeta at Wolverhampton, Power Home enjoyed a favourable draw and took good race position under a confident ride from Oisin Murphy. She held a comfortable third in a slow paced affair, easily holding good position behind the favourite as the tempo steadily increased throughout the last half mile. Into the straight, Oisin took her past the long time leader to go for an inside run and join the race favourite, and then extend away from her inside the final furlong. Power Home underlined her ability to stay every bit of the mile and a half, and she seemed very happy throughout to justify the confidence of the delighted Poachers' Dozen syndicate. She has been taking her racing very well, so they have more to look forward to - with the mare being closely related to several multiple winners over staying trips.
