Power Home close 4th at Kempton
Power Home was her consistent self, with another good run on the all weather at Kempton yesterday - up a grade and down a furlong from her previous run at the same track. She was not helped down the back straight by a lull in pace and a then dramatic jink from the race leader, where she got bumped and hampered. Oisin Murphy felt that she kept on well to the finish but lacked the toe of the top two rated horses inside the final furlong. She was beaten just over 3 lengths, having been eased in the final fifty yards once the winner had crossed. Provided she comes out of the race well, Denis will look for an early opportunity back at 12 furlongs.
